There Are Two Styles Of Coffee Grinders
Today you can find two different types of coffee grinders: the blade type and the burr type. There are some distinct differences between the two so it is important to be educated on them before making your purchasing decision.
The blade type coffee grinder slices up the beans to give you very fine grounds, depending on how long it runs. Think of these grinders as being similar to blenders. Some of the newer models have upwards of 20 different grind sizes ranging from very fine powder to a much more coarse size. You will be able to grind up enough coffee for several pots at once depending on the model you choose. If you have a large family of coffee drinkers a bigger machine would be recommended.
Additionally, once you get the coffee ground up just the way you want it you will need a high quality coffee maker to turn it into a flavorful drink. There are many brands and models to choose from so it is important to get one that has all the qualities you need. Research is important but will pay off as you purchase a coffee machine that you will use for many years.
